Google My Business extends open service addition to all industries
Google Business Profile now offers all businesses a dedicated editor to add detailed services, in addition to the attributes suggested via the dashboard. This distinction makes it possible to better present the local offer: the attributes remain standardized, while the editor allows a free and adapted description for each activity.

It is no longer necessary to be a restaurant for an establishment to be able to display, in Google search and Maps, the services of its choice on its local web page. Since January 2018, local businesses in the catering sector have been privileged because they could directly encode their Menu thanks to a dedicated editor without being limited to the Attributes suggested via the dashboard (or the API) Google Business Profile.

This feature is now extended to other sectors and, as with the Menu editor, it will only be available for My Business listings in English before a wider rollout.
Note also that a visual indicator has been added to the platform to access the input area.

Difference between Attributes and the info editor in Google Business Profile
The Attributes are additional information suggested in the Google Business Profile dashboard (depending on the country and category of the establishment) that users can choose to display or not on their listing. Before the rollout of the Menu editor for restaurants, this was the only option to present the local business's offer in more detail.
